A simple and delicious recipe for baked cod fillets seasoned with garlic, lemon, and oregano.

- 4 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place thawed cod fillets in the baking dish and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, and an extra drizzle of olive oil. Stir well.
- Pour the mixture over the cod fillets, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for 15 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve warm with fresh lemon juice squeezed on top.
