A delicious recipe for a mix of short-grain white rice and black glutinous rice.
Ingredients

- 2 cups short-grain white rice
- 2 tablespoons black glutinous rice
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Rinse the rice. Add the white and black rice to the rice cooker and rinse 4 times with cold water until the water runs clear.
- Drain and add water. Drain the rice and add 2 cups of fresh water.
- Soak. Soak the rice in water for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours. If using a pressure cooker or pressure rice cooker, you can skip this step.
- Cook. Cook the rice on the white rice setting.
- Serve. Once the rice cooker finishes, let the purple rice sit for an additional 5 minutes, then stir with a rice paddle and enjoy!
