Description

Deliciously glazed chicken thighs with a perfect mix of maple syrup and Dijon mustard.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces Chicken Thighs (boneless recommended for quicker cooking)
  • 1/2 cup Maple Syrup (use pure maple syrup)
  • 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard (opt for gluten-free if needed)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (or any neutral oil)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (season to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper (adjust based on spice preference)

Instructions

  1. Start by patting the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and olive oil until well combined.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the glaze over them.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. For a quick pan-sear, heat a skillet with a splash of oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs until golden brown.
  6. After cooking, allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes. This lets the juices redistribute.

Notes

  • Boneless chicken thighs cook faster than bone-in.
  • Use pure maple syrup for best flavor.
