Description
Deliciously glazed chicken thighs with a perfect mix of maple syrup and Dijon mustard.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces Chicken Thighs (boneless recommended for quicker cooking)
- 1/2 cup Maple Syrup (use pure maple syrup)
- 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard (opt for gluten-free if needed)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (or any neutral oil)
- 1 teaspoon Salt (season to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper (adjust based on spice preference)
Instructions
- Start by patting the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and olive oil until well combined.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the glaze over them.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- For a quick pan-sear, heat a skillet with a splash of oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs until golden brown.
- After cooking, allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes. This lets the juices redistribute.
Notes
- Boneless chicken thighs cook faster than bone-in.
- Use pure maple syrup for best flavor.
