Description

This delicious chocolate hazelnut mousse dessert features layers of chocolate hazelnut spread, whipped cream, and crushed hazelnuts.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate mousse (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup crushed hazelnuts
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate wafer cookies
  • 2 tablespoons hazelnut liqueur (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip together the heavy cream, mascarpone cheese, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  2. In each dessert bowl, layer crushed chocolate wafer cookies followed by the chocolate hazelnut spread (drizzle with hazelnut liqueur if desired).
  3. Add a layer of chocolate mousse over the spread and smooth it out.
  4. Top with the whipped cream mixture and sprinkle with crushed hazelnuts.
  5. Garnish with whole Rocher chocolates.
  6. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.

Notes
