Description
Delicious air fryer filet mignon steaks seasoned perfectly and cooked to medium-rare.
Ingredients

- 2 filet mignon steaks (1 inch thick)
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the filet mignon dry and season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
- Drizzle olive oil over steaks for added flavor.
- Place steaks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through.
- In the last two minutes, add a pat of butter on each steak to melt.
- Remove from air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For best results, use a meat thermometer to check for desired doneness.
- Letting the steak rest helps retain its juices.
