- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and slice them in half lengthwise.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add Brussels sprouts cut-side down, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Stir in minced garlic, salt, and pepper; cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the sprouts and toss to coat; cook for an additional minute.
- Serve immediately as a side dish or main attraction.
Notes
- This recipe can be easily doubled for a larger gathering.
- Try adding some crushed red pepper for a spicy kick.
