A delicious and creamy Rice Krispies pudding dessert.
Ingredients

- 2 cups Rice Krispies
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
- Measure and prepare all ingredients.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine milk and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
- In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with a bit of cold milk until smooth; then add to the pan.
- Cook while stirring constantly until thickened and bubbling gently (about five minutes). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and butter until melted.
- Pour hot pudding over Rice Krispies in a large mixing bowl and gently stir until coated evenly.
- Transfer mixture into individual serving cups or bowls. Refrigerate for at least two hours or until firm.
- Serve chilled with optional toppings like fresh fruit or caramel sauce.
