Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth, then allow it to cool slightly.
- Whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until creamy and well combined.
- Add the large eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Sift together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Combine the dry mixture with the wet ingredients gradually, folding gently.
- Mix in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread the hot fudge sauce evenly on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Cool the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring the loaf onto a wire rack.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.
