This delicious Orange Ginger Chicken features tender, marinated chicken thighs baked to perfection with a flavorful sauce.

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 large fresh oranges (juice and zest)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger (grated)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (for sauce)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the juice and zest of the oranges, garlic, honey, soy sauce, and ginger to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken thighs in a resealable bag or bowl, pour half the marinade over them, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Arrange the marinated chicken in the baking dish and drizzle with the remaining marinade.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- In a saucepan, bring any leftover marinade to a simmer. Mix in cornstarch dissolved in water to thicken into a glaze.
- Serve chicken drizzled with the sauce alongside rice or vegetables.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Serve with steamed rice or sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
