Description
Deliciously crispy grilled cheese sandwich made in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 slices sourdough or whole wheat bread
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mix of cheddar and mozzarella)
- 2 tbsp softened butter
- Optional: pinch of garlic powder or herbs
Instructions
- Generously butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice, butter-side down, in the air fryer basket.
- Layer with shredded cheese and top with the second slice, butter-side up.
- Preheat air fryer to 370°F (190°C).
- Cook for 6-8 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- Remove from air fryer, let cool slightly, then cut in half to reveal the melted cheese.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle garlic powder or herbs on the cheese before adding the top slice of bread.
