Description

Deliciously crispy grilled cheese sandwich made in an air fryer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices sourdough or whole wheat bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mix of cheddar and mozzarella)
  • 2 tbsp softened butter
  • Optional: pinch of garlic powder or herbs

Instructions

  1. Generously butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice, butter-side down, in the air fryer basket.
  3. Layer with shredded cheese and top with the second slice, butter-side up.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 370°F (190°C).
  5. Cook for 6-8 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  6. Remove from air fryer, let cool slightly, then cut in half to reveal the melted cheese.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sprinkle garlic powder or herbs on the cheese before adding the top slice of bread.
