Description
These air fryer lemon herb chicken bites are juicy, flavorful, and incredibly easy to make. Perfect for a quick meal or snack!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the fresh lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the cubed chicken breast pieces and toss until they are evenly coated with the marinade.
- Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Set your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) and allow it to preheat for about 3-5 minutes.
- Place the marinated chicken bites in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, ensuring they have space to cook evenly.
- Air fry at 380°F for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket or turning the chicken halfway through the cooking time to promote even browning.
- Once cooked, transfer the chicken bites to a serving plate. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For best results, marinate the chicken for longer than 20 minutes if possible.
- Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F for safety.
