Description
Delicious twists filled with marinated chicken and diced mango, encased in flaky puff pastry.
Ingredients

- 2 cups diced mango
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a medium bowl whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Add chicken strips and toss to coat completely then line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out puff pastry and cut into six equal rectangles.
- Place a few marinated chicken strips and spoon some diced mango onto each pastry rectangle.
- Fold each rectangle over the filling and twist both ends to form a spiral, then arrange twists on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush twists lightly with vegetable oil and sprinkle sesame seeds over the tops.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until pastry is golden and chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
